I believe in the God of the Bible, and that “All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.” (1 Timothy 3:16) I believe in the Trinity, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. My faith is in Him through His only Son Jesus, who is the Messiah. Jesus became flesh and lived among men (John 1:14). His coming and Messiahship were prophesied throughout the Old Testament. He died a cruel death on a cross, at which time “He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him (2 Corinthians 5:21). He was buried and was raised on the third day, according to scripture. Then He was witnessed by hundreds for a period of forty days, then taken up, and is seated at the right hand of our Father. His Spirit dwells in me, according to scripture, and is the author of Holy scripture. I have an unshakable faith that one day He will return to gather His faithful and deliver His Church to our Heavenly Father. I believe I’m saved from God’s wrath to come. I strive daily to walk in the light as He Himself is in the Light and the blood of Jesus God’s Son cleanses me from all sin (1 John 1:7 paraphrased to make it personal). “For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all, the testimony given at the proper time.” (1 Timothy 2:4-6)

I believe Jesus meant what he told Nicodemus about what one must do to see the Kingdom of God in (John 3:1-14) when He described the Gospel. And what Jesus told His disciples in (Mark 16:16)

I believe the Gospel of Jesus is defined in (1 Corinthians 15:1-8). I believe Paul was inspired by the Holy Spirit when he penned (Galatians 1:6-9). And Peter in, (1 Peter 4:17), and Paul in (2 Thessalonians 1:8).

I believe that Peter and the other Apostles preached according to God’s will on the day of Pentecost in the book of Acts. And that when the men in the crowd heard the Gospel of Jesus preached and insisted to know what they must do, “Peter said to them, “Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off, as many as the Lord our God will call to Himself.” And with many other words he solemnly testified and kept on exhorting them, saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation!” So then, those who had received his word were baptized; and that day there were added about three thousand souls. They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” (Acts 2:38-42)

I believe the word of God when it teaches that every one after the establishment of the Church on the day of Pentecost, all obeyed the Gospel alike and were saved. I believe just as it is according to scripture that no one who believed was saved before having their sins washed away in a watery grave. (Acts 8:12; Acts 8:13; Acts 8:36; Acts 8:38; Acts 9:18; Acts 10:47; Acts 10:48; Acts 16:15; Acts 16:33; Acts 19:1-5; Acts 22:16; Romans 6:1-6)

I believe Peter was obedient to God and inspired by the Holy Spirit when he told some Jews about being saved in (1 Peter 3:18-22)
